The ‘Friends of St. Peter’s’ are pleased to welcome David Sidwick, Dorset’s Police & Crime Commissioner as Guest Speaker to St. Peter’s Church, for this ‘Afternoon Tea’ get together.
An ex-Bournemouth School boy, David has spent his career in pharmaceutical industry, beginning as a Rep for Parke-Davis and eventually joining their UK Management Board as Marketing Director. After that he set up his own
business, STAC Consultancy, and for nearly 2 decades, facilitated the education of more than 17,500 secondary care consultants in areas such as chronic pain, epilepsy, dementia, and multiple sclerosis.
He spent more than 3 years learning about policing both within Dorset and by working with other PCs, meeting with residents and other stakeholders across the county, from Lyme Regis to Alderholt, from Weymouth to Gillingham. These experiences coupled with the interaction with residents, meant when he stepped into the role, he was well prepared.
His background in strategy, communication and resource allocation is perfect for the role of acting as the people’s
champion and holding the police to account through the office of the Chief Constable and his vision is to make
Dorset the safest county in the UK through making it his mission to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. David’s
values are Justice, Fairness, Community and Respect and and his purpose is to keep people safe and secure,
Please come along to support this amazing opportunity for St Peter’s, where you will get to meet the man himself
and ask him any questions you wish!
